on 6 Dec 1781 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jared INGERSOLL
was born in 1749 in New Haven, Conneticut. He died in 1822. Jared INGERSOL,
an American statesman and lawyer, was a signer of the Constitution of the United
States. He served on the Continental Congress from 1780 to 1781, and was a delegate
from Pennsylvania to the Continental Convention in 1787. He was a federation
Candidate for Vice-President in 1812 when DeWitt Clinton ran for President.
Jarod was a distinguished lawyer in Philadelphia. He served as the Attorney
General for Pennsylvania from 1790 to 1817. He was an eminent member of the
Philadelphia Bar.
