140. James 2nd PETTIT was born on 24 Mar 1725 in Queens, New York. He was christened on 2 Feb 1730 in Manmouth, New Jersey. He died in Wheeling, West Virginia. Evidence to support this James as being the son of the previous James is that one son was named Thomas Darling Pettit (the mother's maiden name), and a daughter named Priscilla for James II's mother.
He was married to Martha MCCUNE in 1755.
