101. John PETTIT was born on 12 Jun 1726 in Sussex County, New Jersey. He died in 1797 in Sussex County, New Jersey. John PETTIT lived in Newton, Long Island, New York and built a stone building called "The Parsonage". It was the oldest house in Newtown. It was owned by Levi SHEPPERD sometime around 1840.
